“Welcome to the World of Tomorrow!”

Imagine Tomorrow begins at a moment of great excitement for our industry. There are so many projects in active development and construction across themed entertainment, and I can’t wait to discuss them with you all. My goal is to celebrate what we love about this industry. Theme Parks, museums, tiki bars, hotels, etc. If you make an effort to tell a story and bring guests into a different world, I want discuss and analyze it here. These spaces don’t just entertain but can help provide a different perspective on the world. Experiential and spatial storytelling exists all around us in more ways than we think. And the more we talk about these spaces, the more it can help us implement their design principles in our own projects going forward.

My goal for Imagine Tomorrow is to build a community for those who love and work in themed entertainment. And while you’ll mostly hear my perspective on things, I can’t wait to feature other voices as well. For fans of these spaces, I hope that through these articles you will gain a unique perspective and better understanding of the places we love.

All that being said, welcome to D23 Week! I’ll be attending D23 The Ultimate Fan Event on Saturday and the Horizons: A Carousel of Progress experiences showcase at the Honda Center that evening.
